Steven Tyler Takes the Wraps off New Single Ahead of Album Release

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler unveiled his new single, "We're All Somebody from Somewhere," during an appearance Friday morning on NBC's Today show. He also sang "Cryin'" and the Janis Joplin smash "Piece of My Heart."

The new single, which was released Friday, is the title cut from his debut solo album, a country-flavored effort due out July 15. The album's track listing also was unveiled Friday. Twelve of the 15 songs were co-written by Tyler; in addition, there's a remake of Aerosmith's "Janie's Got a Gun" and the cover of "Piece of My Heart.
