RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS have unveiled a new song called "We Turn Red", the third track the band has previewed from its eleventh studio album, "The Getaway". The set arrives in stores next Friday (June 17). "We Turn Red" alternates between funky and contemplative passages and follows the first two cuts issued from "The Getaway", "Dark Necessities" and the title track.
Bassist Flea told The Pulse Of Radio that making the new record was more exciting than usual. "Making this one was a really great experience and a new experience," he said. "You know, we've worked with the producer Rick Rubin for the last 25 years and, you know, this is the first time we haven't been with him for so long. We worked with this guy Danger Mouse and it was a much different creative process. And I think it was really healthy for us and as a result, we have a record that I think is really showing some progress in our music-making style."
